We were taken step by step through the process of creating a “standard” pattern then shown how to alter it specifically to our own measurements. I was able to follow it and create it during the class as well as replicate it on my own. I have since booked in for more classes.

I've just completed the bodice introduction classes. Scott was my teacher and he was great! Clearly very experienced, he explained things well and gave additional little tid bits along the way which were very helpful. We got straight into things and from the very first class we had practical skills we could immediately apply. The Pattern Making Class is a professional pattern making and sewing class studio in North Melbourne, just 4 kilometres from the CBD. When we're not teaching, we're making patterns for our wholesale fashion clients - so you'll be learning inside a real, working studio environment.

The studio is fully equipped with large drafting tables, professional-grade pattern making paper, and the cardboard blocks relevant to your course - all yours to take home when you're done.
