 A one day workshop unpacking all the technical tricks to make your sewing experiences more successful. you won't find this on YOUTUBE!

In this intermediate/ advanced  level workshop you will create a folio of samplers including:

1. THE PANT FLY FRONT ZIP SAMPLER- Learn the correct way to put a fly front zip perfectly into a pant. We take you through thre key steps to making this properly, we discuss cloth, fusing, zip types and open the conversation to all experiences                                                                          
2.  THE JET POCKET SAMPLER - Done well the jet pocket is the ultimate  pocket for jackets, waistcoats, tailored pant and over coats. Learn the correct way to make the perfect jet pocket. We discuss cloth, stitch & pressing techniques.                                      
3. INSERTING THE INVISIBLE ZIP- Learn how to put in an invisible zip correctly. We supply you with a zip and cloth to take you through the step by step process of putting in an invisible zip correctly.

 ALL sewing  machine & cloth needs provided, taught by industry and educational professionals.

We provide you with:

• Cardboard sampler templates to take with you.
• Glossary of terms
• Handouts of advanced construction techniques
• Pattern making paper for class exercises.
• Pre-cut samples to use during class time.
• Long rulers to use during class time.
• Sewing samplers of all exercises to help navigate the step by step sewing process to use during class time.

    Please bring with you, if you have them:                                                                            Thread clippers/ small scissors, pens, pencils, eraser, notebook,  small ruler, pins
