THE SLEEVE CAN TRANSFORM A GARMENT INTO A WORK OF ART!
The SLEEVE pattern making one day workshop introduces the fundamentals to draft and create patterns for different types of sleeves.
During the ONE-DAY workshop you will learn the techniques to create and design many sleeve options like flared and gathered sleeves, the draped cowl sleeve and and tucked sleeve styles.
We take you through every step with supporting hand outs to take home. These workshops are taught by industry experts who have been practicing in the industry and academic space for over 25 years. Throughout the day you will be privy to industry tricks and fast-track methods, fabric knowledge and general construction tips, it's a great sharing pace and we love questions!
COURSE CONTENT:
- understanding basic glossary of terms in pattern making
- step by step guided instructions on to achieve the styles
- modify the sleeve block
- creating, drape, flare, gathering and other techniques for sleeves

- pens, pencils, notepaper, tape measure, masking tape, paper scissors, small rulers and any pattern drafting equipment you may have.
