The pant is one of the most technical styles to master in pattern making and once you obtain this great knowledge you will be abler to undertake very complex patterns and alterations.
During the intensive 3 lesson course you will learn to draft varying design and technical activities to best enhance your skill base in drafting pant patterns. You will look at all types of pant leg shapes, waist finishes, balancing techniques and fit issues and fixes.

Understanding basic pattern making terminology.

Drafting pant leg variations, understanding crotch shaping and designing pockets and fly fronts.

Drafting multiple leg silhouettes from narrow to wide, focussed on understanding shape, form and fit.

Waist finishes such as the classic tailored waistband, shaped waistbands and facing the pant waist.

Learning and understanding the key techniques in balancing the front and back legs to achieve correct fit.
