Overview
Unlock the secrets of traditional bespoke craftsmanship in this intensive, hands-on masterclass.
Instead of rushing through a full garment, you will focus entirely on precision by creating the
ultimate technical reference piece: a fully structured, half-body tailored jacket sampler.
You will master the exact architectural techniques used by master tailors. This course moves
past modern shortcuts to teach you the authentic internal mechanics of structured menswear and womenswear.
What you will master:
• Traditional Pad Stitching: Learn to shape a canvas by hand, controlling roll, tension, and
three-dimensional form.
• Fully Canvassed Construction: Build a floating haircloth foundation for a jacket that moulds perfectly to the body.
• The Perfect Sleeve: Set in and press a classic two-piece sleeve to achieve a clean,
anatomical drape.
• Internal Anatomy: Craft and install professional shoulder pads and sleeve headings to control structure and eliminate collapse.
By the end of this course, you won't just leave with a perfect half-body sampler; you will possess
the foundational muscle memory, pressing techniques, and internal construction skills required
to tackle any high-end tailoring project with absolute confidence.
