Elevate your craft in this hands-on intermediate workshop. You will move past the basics to focus on the exact details that define high-quality, boutique-level clothing.
Using pre-cut premium samples, you will master advanced stitching, clean waistbands, structural bagging out, and the ultimate garment milestone: the perfect pant fly.
What You’ll Master
By the end of this day, you will take home a completed portfolio of master samples and the skills to execute:
- Professional Waistbands: Construct waistbands with an immaculate finish, learn internal finishing secrets, and understand how to properly ease a waistband onto a garment without bunching.
- Flawless Pant Fly Fronts: Conquer your fear of zippers. You will learn step-by-step fusing, stitching methods, and zipper options to assemble smooth, flat fly fronts with confidence.
- Boutique Finishing Techniques: Master the trick to sewing perfect side splits on hemmed garments, alongside "bagging out" techniques used to hide raw edges inside collars and cuffs.
