📚 Course Overview

The Pant Intensive Course explores key pattern-making techniques to develop your knowledge and understanding of pants. Mastering the pant is crucial in pattern making, and once you obtain this knowledge, you will be able to undertake complex patterns and alterations.

    • Fly fronts
    • Balancing techniques
    • Fit issues and fixes
    • Pocket finishes 

  📖 Course Content

1. Understanding basic pattern making terminology.
2. how to start drafting pant patterns with a great block, we provide these.
3. Drafting pant leg variations, understanding crotch shaping, and designing pockets and fly fronts.
4. Drafting multiple leg silhouettes from narrow to wide, focusing on shape, form, and fit.
5. Waist finishes, including classic tailored waistbands and shaped waistbands.
6. Techniques in balancing the front and back legs to achieve the correct fit.
7. Come away with a deep knowledge of pant patterns to help you with your new and older commercial patterns.

📚 Course Structure

• Session Overview (9 hours) : Participants will be  immersed in hands-on learning, starting with introductions, followed by demonstrations on each key technique. Ample time will be provided for personal practice and instructor feedback.
