Join us for one of our most popular one day workshops.
During this class you will learn how to draft a fitted bodice block and sleeve using body measurements. A bodice block is the foundation used to develop many garment designs, and understanding how to draft one provides the basis for creating well fitting garments.
Throughout the workshop you will learn the formulas and techniques used by professional pattern makers to draft pattern blocks accurately. By the end of the day you will have created a fitted bodice block and sleeve based on your own measurements or those of a client.

How the day is structured
Morning Session
Participants will begin by drafting a fitted bodice block and sleeve using industry standard measurements. Worksheets and step by step instruction will guide you through each stage of the drafting process.
Afternoon Session
After lunch, participants will take their own measurements and draft their personalised bodice and sleeve block, applying the techniques learned during the morning session.
