AMAZING STRETCH PATTERNS- is a one day workshop that brings some great draped, flowy styles to life- easily!

It's time to make your knits the way you want them to be!

This course is suited to ALL skill levels, a basic understanding of sewing helps.

During this ONE-DAY workshop you will learn how to create patterns for garments beyond the basic hoodie and leggings and more into a fun fashion context. Drape, tuck and twist amazing styles to suit your body.

We will explore easy ways to make your patterns look clever, considered and original. Using these techniques from scratch or adding these to exisiting patterns- so versatile and easy to adapt.

We will unpack what it means to work with stretch fabrics, ribs ratios and many other great questions that come up during the day.

This workshop facilitates pattern making for ALL genders, including trans, neutral and non-binary.

Primarily we will start by looking at upper body options-

drape cowl top
folded in square cut top
inserting, gathering, draping & flaring pattern pieces reating designer finishes
asymmetric top options
tie front and elasticated techniques.

we supply a large selection of blocks in many sizes to make the day as much about what you need as possible.
