THIS COURSE IS SUITED TO THOSE WHO HAVE A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF SEWING AND GARMENT CONSTRUCTION THROUGH TO AN ADVANCED LEVEL
This workshop in an exciting introduction into some core pieces of mens and gender fluid ideas. The patternmaking techniques will transfer seamlessly into any type of design you wish to undertake. During these 3x 3 hour workshops we will explore the ideas of drafting and making these key pieces and push to ideas of variations and options that can extend past that.
**Drafting the RELAXED SHIRT with short sleeve, 2-way collar, facings, yokes, patch pockets, hem finishes
**Drafting the CASUAL PANT. The woven pant with elastic back to mimic a tailored trakky style, zip fly, angled pocket and pocket bags construction techniques.
**Drafting the HOODY. Unpacking all the codes of the hoody, the hood, rib cuff and hem, kangaroo pocket and an overall introduction of working with stretch fabrics.

a full set of industry blocks to draft all 3 styles- you choose your size and shape
pattern making paper for all your drafting & patterns
long rulers and drafting set squares
tracing wheels and miscellaneous pattern equipment
PLEASE BRING WITH YOU:
- Paper scissors, tape measure, pens, pencils, eraser, any small rulers you may have, notebook, masking tape.
